Personal Focus Coaching is highly interactive and usually conducted on a one to one basis, although we’ve found that the one to many, or group coaching approach can be very impactful and motivational, too!
The general premise of coaching is that the individual has all the answers already inside them and that the coach facilitates the accessing of those answers in order for the individual to move forward.
Traditionally, the coaching approach is centred on the coach asking a series of well-crafted questions to enable the client to reach their desired goals. These goals can be many and varied. Ranging from career direction to work-life balance, from raising self-confidence to developing stronger relationships, they usually require the client to effect some changes. Most commonly, these changes are based around the way they behave, the language they use, their attitude and the choices they make.
At Art of Reinvention we adopt a ’whatever it takes to get the job done!’ approach. This is the major key to the success of our coaching and is under-pinned by a Prococative Coaching approach (based on the work by Frank Farrelly). Once we have established with the client at what ‘level’ (the degree of challenge) they want to work at we adopt an appropriate ‘style’ that is supportive, non-judgemental and focuses on the concept of ‘Possibility Thinking’, i.e. most things are possible! All our sessions are, of course totally confidential.
If the client requests it, we will run a Strategy Session as a first step. This helps the client identify those things that are blocking their way forward. These could be limiting beliefs or apparently insurmountable challenges that prevent the client from achieving their goals.
